About Shashidhar

Dr. Ravinuthala Shashidhar is an inspiration to many. People affectionately call him ‘Shashanna’. He emerged as a leader with qualities of social commitment and service. Swami Vivekananda’s life and work cast a deep impact on his outlook and set him on the path of service to Maa Bharati.

Starting his journey as a Swayamsevak in RSS during his childhood, Shashidhar actively participated in efforts to protect national values. He dedicated himself to the cause of Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama, during his school days and remained deeply involved with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) from 1993 to 2006, progressing from a local to a national level functionary, taking on numerous responsibilities. He played a significant role in empowering student movements in United Andhra Pradesh. He faced and went to jail many times during the student movement.

While serving as a key member of the MMRI institute associated with ABVP, he conducted extensive research on National Security and Rural development. He also served as the State convener of SEIL (Student Experience in Interstate Living). He believes that “Student’s Power, Nation’s Power”.

Bhagyanagar Ganesh Ustav Samiti

From his early days, Shashidhar actively organized religious festivals, particularly Ganesh Utsav, and took the lead in constructing Ganapati mandapas in schools and colleges. He served as a leader for various stages of the festival committee (BGUS) since 2002. Starting in 2008, he assumed the role of Secretary for Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi and played a crucial part in making the Ganesh Utsav of Bhagyanagar (Hyderabad) globally renowned, overseeing the construction of approximately one lakh (100,000) Ganapati mandapas, with nearly 50 lakh (5 million) people participating in the grand immersion processions. Dr. Shashidhar plays a pivotal role in successfully organizing these festivals by coordinating various government departments. Recently, in Aug 2025, Dr. Shashidhar was appointed as General Secretary for Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samiti.

As the Chairman of ATF (Anti Terrorism Forum), Dr. Shashidhar is actively involved in conducting several programs to counter terrorism and extremism.

Dr. Shashidhar has been a prominent leader in promoting the rich traditions of Telangana and with the name of ‘Rachakonda Parirakshana Samithi’, he engaged in special efforts to safeguard the cultural heritage. As a Student leader he has led the successful Telangana Movement in Osmania University for the separate statehood of Telangana, making him a respected figure in the region.

Currently serving as the National Spokesperson of VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad).Dr.Ravinuthala Shashidhar has emerged as a Hindu leader, leaving an indelible mark in the hearts of the people. He is widely recognized through various Television programs and social media platforms, contributing to “The Voice of Hindutva.”

Dr.Ravinuthala Shashidhar’s work on National Security primarily focuses on countering terrorism and illegal migration. Through his leadership of the Anti-Terrorism Forum, he conducts programs to raise awareness about security threats. Specifically, he has publicly presented complaints demanding the deportation of Rohingya Muslims, claiming they are living illegally in sensitive defense areas in Hyderabad and pose a national security risk.

Certainly, Dr.Ravinuthala Shashidhar has publicly taken a strong stance on National Security, particularly by raising serious concerns about illegal Rohingya and Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators. In one specific action, he filed a written complaint with the Telangana DGP and Hyderabad Police Commissioner, asking for the deportation of thousands of Rohingya Muslims, claiming they were living illegally in key defense areas like near DRDO & DRDL and receiving political support. His research in law also focused on a comparative study of anti-terrorism laws Globally and in India.

One strong statement came in February 2026 at ‘Jago Bhagyanagar’ Public Meeting in Balapur.

Dr. Ravinuthala Shashidhar, representing the Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi, demanded the deportation of thousands of Rohingya Muslims living in Hyderabad and he also sent the official letters to the Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah ji, Telangana CM Shri Revanth Reddy ji and other officials. He claimed their presence was part of a ‘Vote Jihad’ conspiracy and that they posed a threat to National Security, particularly because they had settled near defense establishments.
